4. Ikramul Muslimin

It means to honour deeply Muslim brothers

The aim of Ikramul Muslimin

To fulfill our brother's rights and needs without asking for reward, only expecting the reward form Allah Swt.

The virtues of Ikramul Muslimin :

Verse from The Holy Qur'an :

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

The believersare but a single brotherhood: so make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive mercy. ( Q. Al Hujurat : 10)

وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا 

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves. ( Q. Ali Imran : 103)

وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا

And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say,"Peace!". (Q. Al Furqan : 63)

Rasulullah Saw. said :

الرَّاحِمُوْنَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَانُ، اِرْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ

Abdullah ibn 'Amr r.huma narrates that Nabi Saw. says: "Allah The compassionate bestows mercy upon the merciful people, so have mercy upon inhabitants of the earth The One in the heaven will be merciful to you. ( Abu Dawood)

وَ اللهُ فىِ عَوْنِ اْلعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ اْلعَبْدُ فىِ عَوْنِ أَخِيْهِ

Abu Hurairah r.a. narrates that Rasulullah Saw said :"Allah will help someone as long as he helps his brothers". (Muslim)

مَنْ سَتَرَ عَوْرَةَ أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ سَتَرَ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ كَشَفَ عَوْرَةَ أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ كَشَفَ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ حَتَّى يَفْضَحَهُ بِهَا فِي بَيْتِهِ

Ibn Abbas r.a narrates,"Whoever conceals the wrongdoing of muslimbrothers, Allah will conceal his wrongdoing on the day of Qiyamah. And whoever discloses the wrongdoing of muslim brothers. Allah will disclose his wrongdoing to the people so much so that he will be disgraced sitting in his own house". (Ibn Majah)

The Way to obtain it :

1. We should exhort the importance of  Ikramul Muslimin

2. We should give salam to known and unknown Muslim; honors deeply our Ulama, respecting our elders, appreciating our colleagues, and loving young ones. 

3. We should associate with people who have different characters.

4. We should pray to Allah, may Allah give us the characters of Rasulullah Saw.
